Our mission  of building the Jesus Culture of a Diversity Community is given by God to create a healthy, nurturing, and thriving community of believers who serve God and one another by the power of the transformative love of Jesus Christ.  We experience His merciful and gracious love as we invoke His presence by prayer, worship, and the teaching of His Word.  As we lead people to salvation, they experience freedom, find their purpose, and make a difference not only here at Encounter, but then in the Kingdom of God.  Encounter Church, also known as Tabernacle of Praise, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization committed to enriching and uplifting our community through purpose-driven programs. Guided by our spiritual principles, we focus on Community and Economic Development, Diversity and Inclusion, and Education. Our mission is to cultivate 'Pathways to Prosperity,' offering Economic Empowerment for All through Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurial Skills Training, and inclusive educational initiatives. We aspire to build brighter futures, unlock the untapped potential in diverse communities, and sow the Seeds of Success for lasting impact.
