Session 1: The Lord Is My Banner

Event Description

Discover the beauty of God's Word through creativity as you participate in our Silk Scarf Dyeing Series—a four-month journey where biblical truth comes alive through the art of hand-dyeing silk worship scarves.

Led by Minister Angel Middleton, each monthly session combines Scripture, storytelling, and hands-on creativity, allowing participants to create a one-of-a-kind silk scarf while exploring the rich symbolism found throughout God's Word.

This isn't simply an art class—it's an immersive worship experience designed to deepen your understanding of Scripture while creating meaningful worship banners you can use during personal devotion or corporate worship.

Our first session, "The Lord Is My Banner," explores the biblical significance of banners as symbols of God's victory, protection, identity, and presence.

Over the following months, we'll continue our journey through four beautiful biblical themes:

Session 1 (October) – The Lord Is My Banner
Session 2 (November) – The Colors of God (The Rainbow Covenant)
Session 3 (December) – The Priestly Garments
Session 4 (January) – Christ, Our Banner

Each session includes biblical teaching, guided instruction, all dyeing materials, and your own silk scarf to create and take home.

Registration Information

$40 per person

Limited to 20 participants per session to create a more intimate learning experience.
